These Austin-Healey 12-bolt steel crankshafts are made to the highest quality for the serious competitor!
We developed them to be lighter (23.5kgs), stronger and more aerodynamic than any other Austin-Healey Steel crank. Made from EN40B steel and Gas Nitride Hardened, these cranks use the original stroke and standard main bearings.
An aluminium back plate COM245 with full circle lip seal COM248 is needed as well as a 12-bolt flywheel COM236 or COM236B. Also, the block will require some machining on the 4th main bearing cap.
Due to their strength and durability, these cranks allow much higher revs and strengthen the bottom end.
They must be fitted with our steel H section con rod sets COM234.
